International Conference on Formal Islamic Education in 2025 in Mekka

The Global Association of Islamic Schools (GAIS) has set itself the goal of organizing a major international conference on formal Islamic education in Mecca by 2025. It will be the third time in history that such a major international conference will take place in Mecca. The first time this was organized was in 1977.

Organizing such a large conference obviously requires the necessary preparations.

What started in 2021 as an app group with a few enthusiastic education pioneers from different countries around the world, has grown into monthly online seminars of scholars in the field of formal Islamic education worldwide, a community of more than 300 educators who are guided by themes have united into multiple subgroups. The community is still growing. All education professionals who want to work together for better Islamic education worldwide are cordially invited to join.

The first physical meeting will take place in Istanbul from 3 to 9 October. Of course Islam-Wise is also represented there in sha Allah from the formal Islamic education in the Netherlands.

Atlas Bridges

Islam-Wise has partnered with Atlasbridges in the person of Said el Amraoui.

AtlasBridges is an international organization that contributes to society through educational, cultural, social and scientific activities and projects. It was founded in 2002 by Said El Amraoui and is currently active in the Benelux, Europe and Worldwide. Several centers are supported by the Atlasbridges Institute and Atlasbridges International. The platforms Green-Muslims.org and DivIn.app are also part of the AtlasBridges Foundation.
