I took the Basic Islamic Education Course and found it very instructive. The reason I signed up for this course is that I am a teacher myself, so I wanted to learn as a professional how to parent in an Islamic way. I thought the teacher explained the material very clearly. It wasn't too fast, but it wasn't too slow either. I was very motivated to take the classes. I didn't miss one. At the beginning of the course I did have some basic knowledge about Islamic education, but my knowledge has certainly been taken to a higher level through the course and my skills in practice have also improved. The course has made me think more in advance about why I do something and that it is a form of worship. I would definitely recommend the course to others.

I have been teaching at an Islamic primary school for several years now. The Islamic Pedagogy course has made me more aware of my own identity and responsibility as a role model for my students. During the course it was very inspiring to be presented with so many examples from the life of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), who has also been the best example for mankind as an educator.

The Islamic Education course of Asma Claassen has stuck with me very well. As a parent you often react out of automatism. Then you think you're doing it right. But if you really look at the wisdom in the Qur'an and the example of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) you realize that it could (and sometimes even should) be different. Your own actions cause a reaction in your children. Asma teaches you to look at yourself first. She holds up a mirror to you.

Asma's lectures have been very helpful to me. After my conversion I not only had many questions about Islam myself, but I also kept getting questions from my environment that I could not always answer. The knowledge I gained during the basic Islam course was valuable not only for my own spiritual development, but also in my contacts with others.

I found the teacher very effective teaching. She made effective use of class time and her teaching style was very motivating. The presentations were very clear and structured. The course was well structured and well planned. It was taken into account that all students could participate on all days. That was very nice. The most valuable thing I have taken away from this course is that I now realize much better why I do something, with what intention.

Sister Asma is really good at conveying the lesson, ma sha Allah. She has a lot of experience and knows the differences between the cultures very well. I have gained quite a bit of knowledge and she has motivated me a lot. I liked that she was always there for us and that she took our wishes and needs into account.

I chose this course because at the beginning of the course I had very little knowledge about Islamic education. My knowledge has really progressed through the course, alhamdulillah, partly due to the expertise of the teacher. I found her presentations very clear and structured. The teacher was always open to answer our questions. I don't have any children myself, but this course is certainly a good preparation for the future.

I attended the lecture on Maryam (as) and found it very instructive. The teacher has a calm appearance and it is easy to follow maa shaa Allah.

I attended an online lecture by Asma Claassen about Marjam (as). I found it very interesting. The teacher spoke clearly and calmly; pleasant to listen to.

I have gained a different understanding of who spoke to Marjam (as) at the stream. It is a pity that the slides are not shared

I attended a lecture by Asma. I found it interesting, educational and fun. The teacher was enthusiastic while telling. This motivated me again to actively listen. I didn't know much about the subject. It was also nice to be told based on a presentation, so you could read along yourself.

I attended a lecture by Asma Claassen and I thought it was very well organised. Nothing to complain about .. A sweet, gentle, sincere woman with a golden heart, that's what she radiates. Clear explanation. Come across very calmly. Nice to listen to.

I liked that the story was told from the beginning, step by step and with proof/explanation from the Quran. And that you can read the points on the screen.

I attended an online lecture by Asma through Sisters for Sisters. I thought it was a very nice clear reading. She spoke clearly, I liked hearing a woman speak, that appeals to you more. she sometimes linked it to today's life. She spoke and also radiated calm, I listened attentively on the couch with a cup of tea. I've only recently been converted, I hadn't read about this so substantively, I actually learned from the whole lecture. I found it quite interesting because I partly had a Christian upbringing.

Yesterday I attended a lecture by Sister Asma on the subject of 'Khadija (ra), one of the greatest role models who ever lived.

Allahumma barik, it exceeded my expectations. Clear story filled with a lot of information. A lecture that makes you think about your own role as a Muslim woman, and motivates you to follow the good example of Khadija (ra).
